Allyson is still making her way through the various rotations in the supply chain development program. Already, she has been able to work with a diverse group of departments within Shaw and become a specialist in supplier diversity. She has been empowered to use her creative ideas to improve the current supplier diversity program already in place. She credits the superb training, mentorship and support that is built into the program for her success so far. We can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes with Shaw’s supply chain.— Allyson HikidoSupplier Diversity Champion and Program Participant
Upon graduating from college, Ben wasn’t quite sure what career would best align with his goals and aspirations. He knew he was interested in supply chain management but wanted to explore all that he could achieve in the field. The supply chain development program allowed him to do just that. With the program’s structure that enables participants to explore various parts of Shaw’s supply chain through six-month rotations, Ben was able to try different departments within supply chain management. Beyond expanding his knowledge of all things supply chain, Ben forged lifelong friendships with fellow program participants who eventually led him to his current position– a role he calls his perfect fit. — Ben JustusBusiness Intelligence Manager for Integrated Customer Care
