As a co-op and OMT program participant, Ishmal gained valuable experience with Shaw’s Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) and Corporate Engineering teams. LaRuthie’s college-to-career experience included work across a variety of operations. Since then, she has held several engineering roles and played a key role in developing an internal MakerSpace for engineers to test out new ideas and produce prototypes. Former recipient of tuition reimbursement program and now Director.
Danielle began working at Shaw as a co-op while obtaining her bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. She built on this experience when she was hired and began the OMT program. Through Shaw’s tuition reimbursement program, she was able to pursue her love of manufacturing even further and earn her master’s in manufacturing leadership from Georgia Tech. Through the OMT program, Ben found meaningful work that helped him thrive in Shaw’s high-performance culture. He turned his passion for the environment into results, by helping drastically reduce the amount of post-consumer waste at one of Shaw’s facilities. After only five weeks in the program, Ben accepted a new position as an Industrial Engineer working to optimize the processes he had implemented. Before the creation of the supply chain development program, Molly began her career in the OMT program with a focus on supply chain. During the program, she was able to learn about several different facets of Shaw’s supply chain and grow professionally by connecting with leaders who supported and mentored her throughout the experience. Working with leadership and using her own experience, Molly helped develop the supply chain development program that thrives today. Now, Molly leads her own team that includes supply chain development program graduates and helps them as they transition into their full-time positions within Shaw’s supply chain. Molly has continued her personal and professional growth by taking advantage of Shaw’s tuition reimbursement program to obtain her master’s of business administration.  Molly Scantland Sr. Operations Manager
